These terms explain our ordering, payment, production, delivery and warranty policies. They apply alongside the written quote and any project-specific terms agreed with you before your order is confirmed.
1. Quotes and project approval
Our written quote identifies the work or products included, selected materials, pricing, applicable taxes and any agreed delivery or installation services.
An order is confirmed once the quote has been approved in writing and the required payment has been received. Material selections, dimensions and other essential details must be confirmed before production begins.
Items or services not listed in the approved quote are not included unless agreed separately in writing.
2. Deposits and payments
For most custom furniture and upholstery projects, a 50% deposit is required before work begins. The deposit is calculated on the pre-tax project price; applicable taxes and the exact amount payable are shown on your quote or invoice.
The remaining balance, including any outstanding taxes, is due upon completion and before pickup, delivery or installation, unless a different arrangement has been agreed in writing.
For larger projects, a staged payment schedule may apply: 50% to begin, 25% at an agreed project milestone and the final 25% upon completion. Your quote will confirm the applicable schedule.
Orders for commercial chairs, barstools, tables and bases require full payment before the supplier order is placed.
Payment methods and instructions are provided with your quote or invoice. Any applicable payment processing fee will be disclosed before payment is authorized, with an alternative payment option available.
3. Prices and taxes
Prices are in Canadian dollars and are before tax unless otherwise stated. Ontario orders subject to HST are charged at 13%. Where a different tax rate applies, it will be identified on your quote or invoice.
4. Changes and additional repairs
Please request changes to dimensions, materials, quantities or design as early as possible. Once materials have been ordered or production has begun, changes may involve additional costs or affect the schedule.
During reupholstery, underlying damage to frames, foam, webbing or other components may become visible after the existing covering is removed. We will explain any additional work and obtain your approval for its cost before proceeding.
5. Cancellations and returns
Please contact us in writing as soon as possible if you need to cancel an order.
For customer-requested cancellations, charges may apply for work already completed and materials or supplier commitments that cannot be cancelled or recovered. We will explain these charges and any remaining refund in writing.
Custom-made furniture and upholstery work are not eligible for change-of-mind returns once production has begun. Supplier orders for chairs, barstools, tables and bases are final for change-of-mind purposes once the order has been placed.
These policies do not restrict cancellation, refund or other rights available under applicable law, including rights relating to defective goods or work.
6. Production and scheduling
Production timing depends on the project scope, material availability, confirmed specifications and our schedule.
Tell us about any opening date, renovation deadline or required installation date when requesting your quote. A deadline is confirmed only when agreed in writing.
If a delay arises, we will notify you and discuss revised arrangements. Changes to an agreed schedule do not remove any rights you have under applicable law.
7. Pickup, delivery and installation
Pickup and delivery rates start at $350 per order, plus applicable taxes. The final cost depends on the quantity, size and weight of the items. Larger quantities and heavy or bulky items, such as booths, tables and bases, may result in additional charges.
Out-of-town delivery, installation and special access requirements are quoted separately. All charges will be confirmed in your written quote before the service is scheduled.
Please provide accurate information about stairs, elevators, doorways, loading access, parking and site restrictions before the service is scheduled.
The agreed work area must be accessible and ready for the scheduled service. Any additional charges arising from changed requirements must be agreed before they are incurred.
8. Materials and appearance
Material colours and textures may appear different on screens and photographs. We recommend reviewing available physical samples before confirming your selection.
Your approved quote and confirmed specifications identify the materials, dimensions and finish for your order. Normal material variations do not excuse defective work or a failure to supply the agreed product.
9. Warranty
Where our three-year commercial-use warranty is included, it covers fading and discoloration under normal commercial use. Tears are not covered under this additional warranty.
Your written quote or invoice identifies the items covered and any additional or product-specific warranty terms. Warranty details for supplier products are provided before ordering where applicable.
To report a concern, contact us with your invoice or order details, a description of the issue and clear photographs. We will assess the concern and explain the next steps.
This warranty is additional to any rights or remedies provided by applicable law.
10. Inspection and concerns
Please inspect your furniture or completed work at pickup, delivery or installation and tell us promptly about any concern. This helps us assess and address the issue.
Inspection or acceptance does not waive rights relating to hidden defects or other rights protected by law.
11. Privacy
Please refer to our separate Privacy Policy for information about how we collect, use and protect personal information submitted through our website or during a project.
12. Your rights and policy updates
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits rights that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
Changes to these website policies apply to future orders. They do not change an existing agreement without your agreement.
